P.T. Penta Rex Technical (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Rexmeet mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Rexmeet is designed primarily for educational and learning groups, enabling students, teachers, and educational institutions to conduct real-time video and audio sessions securely.

1. Information We Collect

We collect and process only the minimum information necessary to provide our video meeting functionality:

  • Camera and Microphone Access: Used solely to enable real-time video and audio communication during sessions. We do not record, store, or transmit your camera or microphone data to our servers.
  • Display Name (Optional): You may enter a display name to join a session. You can use a nickname or alias; no real name is required.
  • Device Information: Basic data such as operating system, device type, and app version may be collected to ensure performance and prevent crashes.

We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) unless you voluntarily provide it.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the limited information we collect only for the following purposes:

  • To enable real-time video, audio, and chat functionality for educational sessions
  • To maintain and improve app performance, reliability, and security
  • To diagnose and fix bugs or technical issues

We do not sell, share, or rent user data to any third party under any circumstances.

3. Data Storage

Rexmeet operates in real-time mode only. We do not store video, audio, or chat data on our servers. All communication happens live and is not recorded by default.

Any temporary data required for connection purposes is automatically deleted when the session ends.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption protocols (including encryption in transit) to protect all communications between users. However, no method of data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We take all reasonable steps to safeguard your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

Our App primarily uses our own SDK to provide real-time video, audio, and screen-sharing features. Any third-party SDKs, if used, are minimal and strictly limited to supporting essential app functionality.

These third-party services process data ephemerally (only while the app is active) and do not retain user information.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our App is intended for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we may have collected such information, please contact us immediately, and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your information:

  • You may uninstall the App at any time to stop all data collection and usage.
  • If you wish to request deletion of any stored data, contact us at business@pentarex.id.

We will respond to all valid requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. When updates occur, the revised version will be published with an updated “Effective Date.”
